Referring to people by the pronouns they determine for themselves is basic to human dignity. Being referred to by the wrong pronouns particularly affects transgender and gender nonconforming people.
On Monday, April 21st, at 12PM, students can create their own buttons to wear displaying their pronouns. Students may also play various lawn games and win Pride-themed prizes.
Let’s have fun on the stage with the Legendary Spindarella and Queens College’s award-winning House of GLASA. To learn more about how YOU can werq the runway and compete on stage, go to https://tinyurl.com/MiniBallFAQ for details.
A Know Your Rights pop-up clinic provided by the CUNY Law School Sorenson Center will be provided to students seeking information on legal name changes and changes to their government-issued ID and more.
