Queens Community House is a non-profit that provides an array of services supporting people through all stages of development. Their programs offer parent engagement/advocacy, support for family childcare providers, academics, and cultural activities to prioritize their overall development.

They are looking for dedicated Queens College students to volunteer as afterschool tutors for 6th–8th graders at The Queens College School for Math, Science, and Technology (148-20 Reeves Ave). This is a wonderful opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young learners while gaining valuable experience.

Tutoring Subjects Available:
Math: Pre-Algebra & Algebra
Science: Life Science, Physical Science, and Earth Science
English & Writing
Monday-Friday 2:30-3:45 PM.

Tutors do not have to be available every day.
If you are passionate about helping students succeed and want to share your knowledge, they would love to have you on their volunteer team.
